Salary Range Minimum: $42,758 per year
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse performs a variety of public health nursing functions for Hays County residents including Women’s Health, Prenatal care, well child exams, immunizations, and acute care. The work involves treating a variety of problems, questions, or situations in conformance with established procedure, investigation, testing and researching. This position affects the physical well being of patients.

- Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in the area of nursing.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Ability to obtain certifications in CPR, Texas Health Steps, HIV Counseling, Vision Screening, Scoliosis Screening, and Hearing Screening.
- Class C driver’s license.
- Participation in occasional community outreach.
- Ability to maintain continuing education requirements for the State of Texas.
