Provides supervision to juveniles in a careful and diligent manner to maintain the safety and security of the center, its staff and the juveniles assigned to the center.

- General Education degree (GED)
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Class C driver’s license.
Must successfully complete and pass the following security clearances:
- Criminal History (TCIC/NCIC)
- Sex Offender Registration Database Check
- Driver’s License
- Pre-employment Drug Screen
|

|
- High School diploma preferred
- one to three months related experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- TJPC certification as a Detention/Corrections Officer preferred.
- First Aid & CPR certification preferred.
- TJPC-approved Physical Restraint Technique certification preferred.
